I just watched the Las Vegas tv program at AXN channel and this time, the episode promoted a very damn good water fountain show at night. The water fountain look so colorful and spectacular. Not sure when I can have my first trip to Vegas but I really hope that one day, I can spend my first night at one of the famous hotel in Vegas.

Each time I watch a documentary about Africa, it always remind me of one of my favorite film “The God Must Be Crazy”. This is one of the best African film that I have ever known. I love to watch this film because it really show the real society and African lifestyle. Not only that, it also show many African arts and gift and for your information this is one of the reason why I love this film.

Actually, it’s very rare to find an African gallery in my country. I’m not sure why but I hope there will be many African gallery will be opened in the future. This bizarre sculpture of a human head was carved out of a dead cedar tree. Painter, sculptor and poet Rudy Rahmeh carves figures and faces out of trees and this one was expertly created in a forest in Lebanon. The sculptor carves the figures out of the dead wood to represent the relationship between time and place. One of the other creations is of a human body (after the jump).

Now you can find a dead tree around your house and make a sculpture of a Pamela Anderson. That would be great, don’t you think so?

Six hundred people shed their clothes on a glacier in the Swiss Alps to bodily cry out for help against a planetary emergency: global warming. The nude volunteers posed for us and renowned naked “installation” artist Spencer Tunick on the Aletsch Glacier.

Without clothes, the human body is vulnerable, exposed, its life or death at the whim of the elements. Global warming is stripping away our glaciers and leaving our entire planet vulnerable to extreme weather, floods, sea-level rise, global decreases in carrying capacity and agricultural production, fresh water shortages, disease and mass human dislocations.

If global warming continues at its current rate, most glaciers in Switzerland will completely disappear by 2080, leaving nothing but valleys and slopes strewn with rock debris.
