This book is the “real” deal, as indicated by the multitude of authors who mimic even just the title! It is well researched, well written and an awesome undertaking by Ms. Schultz. The destinations chosen are what I, as a traveller, dream of seeing and experiencing.

Whether you are an avid traveler or someone wanting to learn about different places, or if one is just looking for ideas for future trips, this book really has it all. And it covers the whole world. There are vivid descriptions that sparked serious wonderlust. Each entry tells exactly why it’s essential to visit - then comes the nuts and bolts. I see why it’s a best seller.

Schultz has not targeted a certain group of readers, so in the book, there are places for both luxury-lovers and for the low-budget backpackers (well, mostly the first group). If you have no idea where to go, you may try reading this book and then pick somewhere you think you will enjoy.

However, if you are a low-budget backpacker, or one who likes the “hostel culture”, you may find.
