This blind 74-year-old water-skiier took to Lake Windermere in a protest against a new 10mph speed limit….! Gerald Price, from Stockport, skied at 28mph to test the new bylaw on England’s largest lake. The ban at Windermere was imposed in March 2005 to reinstate the natural tranquillity of the lake.
