
This is how Japanese Trucks and Vans look alike at night. Basically, it’s a normal trucks/vans that normally being used for the daily routine. But believe it or not, it will transform to an “Optimus Prime” in the dark. It’s cool huh!!
Japan’s art trucks are arguably made for the night. Not just any night, mind you, but a Ridley Scott’s Tokyo, hyperarticulated, commercially electronic, future-circa-1981 night.

There are like ten places on earth where you can still see that kind of night, and one is at whatever truck show in Japan where these photos were taken. The album is a million kinds of great, but scroll halfway down to isolate the night shots. It’s like a mobile Shibuya-Times-Square-Piccadilly hot zone.
